HELLO TEAM TEXAS.
Donna Esposito, a transplant coordinator from The Methodist Hospital in Houston has played a major role in helping organize our group in more ways than you could imagine. She also is the one who made arraignments with The Amway Grand Plaza Hotel in Grand Rapids Michigan for a block of rooms for Team Texas.Months ago, when we began communicating about the games many people sent me emails or text messages or phone calls telling me they were interested in using a room from our block. Since that time some have chosen to use a different hotel or made other arraignments. That is no problem at all. Now is time for us to turn in names to the hotel so that you can call the hotel and give them the necessary information for your stay. My hands are full and Donna has agreed to take this information from you and give it to the hotel. WE DON'T WANT ANYONE TO BE LEFT WITHOUT A ROOM. Many have asked me for an additional room for friends and family etc. That too is fine. It is important that you contact Donna with the following information. Please read her facebook post. Some have already contacted her. I suggest that you send her an email [email protected]  The rooms are $129.00 per night.

Hi Team Texas - If you have not requested a hotel please contact me via facebook or email at [email protected] and let me know how many rooms you will need and the names of those staying in the room. Also, what days you will be staying. We have rooms on hold at The Amway Grand Hotel where the shuttles to the games will be leaving from each day. They have held 75 rooms for Team Texas and if we don't need them all I want to give them back to the hotel for other people who might still be searching for a room. Also if you are planning on flying into Grand Rapids please let me know as we are trying to work through potential airfare schedules
